Inkling Exploration: Beautiful CGI

I'm here with one of Heidi's Inkling Explorations. May's selection is:

A scene making beautiful use of special effects/CGI in film

I've chosen Fawkes's rebirth in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

When a phoenix grows old, it doesn't die. Instead, it will burst into flame and then rise from it's own ashes as a chick.

There is no symbolism to be found there now, is there? ;) To be reborn from its own ashes? What a magnificent thing?!

Such a cute little thing--and it makes the cutest little sounds. :)

Be sure to check out Heidi's blog for more links on the subject!

Yours truly,
Cordy

    1. Haha, I know. I haven't seen Chamber in a long time but I usually catch the others on TV. :)

  4. Good one! I watched all but the first 2 of these in the theater, but my husband never saw any of them, so we spent the past year watching them in order, one every month or so. They really did a great job with most of the effects, and this moment is a stand-out from the first one.

    1. I did like the CGI in the films. I still wish I could play Quidditch! :)

If your comment doesn't appear immediately don't worry! I moderate my comments so check back in a few days and you might find it!

Don't misunderstand my moderating. I am trying to contain and avoid unsavory comments and spammers. This does not include those who disagree with me, only those that are unable to state their disagreement agreeably. I have already said that I would enjoy different opinions.

So please, do comment!

P.S. I don't mind comments on old posts. :D
