Classic Movie Couples Character Names Screencap Game

I should receive an award or a scolding for some of my title choices. Really.

Anyway, I had so many hopes for this month regarding post content but nothing was quite coming together. Not to worry, to much anyway, I've decided to create a small game. The rules will be as follows:

1. No Googleing or cheating (Easy enough for you all I'm sure)
2. Using the screencaps below give the names of the CHARACTERS coupled from classic movies NOT the actor/tress' names
3. Enter as you please until I post the answers---when I get around to it. :)

I feel like sometimes I remember the actor's names over their character names so I thought this idea might be a unique challenge for a blog game.
10 points will be awarded for each correct answer and half points will be given for half answers. And I suppose if you want to try and name movies, you can do that as well. :) I hope you have a good time!!

I figured I needed a grand finale, and I hope this fits the bill. ;D
Let's see how many brother couples you can name!
*Cordy rushes off to check her own knowledge*

Good luck!

Yours truly,
Cordy

P.S. For future readers, here is the link to the game answers.

  1. What! I can't just say the actor even if I haven't seen the movie!!!? So I have to have actually watched the movie!? Brilliant! Which means I will only get, maybe two right. Let's give it a go!
    1. I know BOTH of these actors!!! But I can't remember their names.
    2. Nope.
    3. Nick and Nora? Don't ask the last name, I had it but now it's gone.
    4. Nope.
    5. KATHY SELDEN AND DON LOCKWOOD. (I hope I'm spelling it right...)
    6. Mom and Dad of twins.
    7. Princess Ann, and other guy.
    8. Nope.
    9. Wait a minute, I know this is against the rules, but I have to ask, AUDREY HEPURN AND FRED ASTAIRE WERE IN A MOVIE TOGETHER AND NOBODY TOLD ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????

  2. I need to watch more classics!! I've only seen two of these, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and An Affair to Remember. However, I know most of the other couples, but I only know SOME of the couples (or half of their) names. So To guess i would have to look up on Wiki and that's cheating.

  4. (Okay. Now for my official comment...)

#1. This is from Casablanca. I've seen it, but I can't remember their names. Ugh.
#2. Glen Miller and...HIS WIFE! (Honestly. I'm so disappointed in myself for not remembering her name. Boo.)
    #3. ...
    #4 ...
#5. Don Lockwood and Kathy Seldon
#6. Mitch and Maggie? (There is no good reason why I should be blanking out on these two.)
#7. The movie is Roman Holiday and I think Audrey Hepburn's character's name is Anne? Maybe? Don't know about Gregory Peck's character.
    #8. ...
#9. Oooh! I could do the actors for this one! But, shucks, that's not the point. :(
#10. Eeek! This is perfect for a grand finale! And I especially approve because...I KNOW THESE! (Yes. Bring it on. This is my moment to shine! ;))
Benjamin and Dorcas, Caleb and Ruth, Daniel and Martha, Ephraim and Eliza, Frank and Sarah, Gideon and Alice!! (Heh. I'm going to be very embarrassed if I actually some of these wrong. Heehee. :P *fingers crossed*)

This was a marvelously fun game, Cordy. I might have to borrow the idea sometime. (Provided you don't mind, of course.)

    #3 Nick and Nora Charles
    #4 Nicky and Terry

    #6 Mitch and Maggie
#7 Princess Anne? Shoot, can't remember Gregory Peck's name.
#8 is from High Society, but I have no idea what their names are
#9 I have zero idea -- is that from Funny Face?
#10 the brothers pictured are Benjamin, Caleb, Daniel, Ephraim, Frank, and Gideon, but I have never learned the names of their girls.
