I hope you've all enjoyed celebrating Christmas and the New Year. I have never been one for setting goals, (for better or worse) and therefore my blogging remains the same here. If pressed I might wish 2017 a warm welcome. Consider it done.
Carrying on, I've come today with one of my favorite games, Who Do You Think You Are. This time, that cast of characters roam the 100 Acre Wood. For those who may be new round here, you simply have to relate to one of the characters from the selected group and explain why you are related to said character. And so I ask you, who do you think you are..
Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Tigger, Christopher Robin, Rabbit, Gopher Owl, Piglet, Pooh,? Who, who??
Personally, I think I'm gopher. I'm in my own little world most of the time and I'm rarely understood while in company.
Yours truly,
Cordy
P.S. I don't want to see any entry that claims the personality of Eeyore. I would be forced to disagree on the grounds that you don't have a tail with a pink bow. ;D

Hmm... I think I will have to go with "T-I-Double G-ER." Because I am very bouncy and I can be a little annoying but I don't mind. :) Fun Cordy!
ReplyDeleteHaha, alright then, one Tigger in the company. :) (Actually, I think you are one of many Tiggers in the group. Perfect!)
DeleteHi Cordy! Happy New Year! :)
ReplyDeleteI kind of try to be Tigger-like when I'm around certain people. You know, bubbly and optimistic (sometimes annoyingly so - haha!). Last year was kind of rough, and I was much more like Eeyore, although still trying to put up a Tigger persona around those who weren't in the know about my struggles. It's nice to be happier again. "Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-oo-oo-oo!" :)
HI KERRY! Happy New Year to you too!
DeleteOooh, I'm sorry to hear you had a rough time. :( But I'm glad to see things are looking up for you. :D Here's to a better 2017!!
Hmm, I don't think I've played this before! *settles in*
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THE 100 ACRE WOOD. Just sayin'. ;)
Well, I think I'm a conglomerate of Eeyore, Kanga, Christopher Robin, Owl, Piglet, and Pooh. I get bouts of melancholy like Eeyore sometimes (but we all do, so I guess that doesn't count), I tend to mother-hen like Kanga, I love the idea of childhood and some childhood memories & am reluctant to grow up sometimes like Christopher Robin (there's something else about Christopher Robin that I relate to but which I can't put into words), I sometimes think I'm smarter than I am like Owl, I'm a lovable scaredy-cat/a bit of a pushover like Piglet sometimes, and I'm generally happy and friendly like Pooh, but not to the extent of Tigger :)
(Oops! Just read the note about not claiming relation to Eeyore! Well, a girl can dream for a tail with a pink bow ;D)
If I had to pick just one, I'd probably be Christopher Robin or Piglet. What a fun game!
Really? Oh d-d-d-dear dear. *said in Piglet's voice* ;)
DeleteME TOO!!
Wow, that's quite a mash-up. Hahaha. :D But I understand the ability to relate to many different characters for different reasons.
I'll be on the lookout for a tail with a pink bow for you. ;)
Oh come on! You can't give us the choice of Eeyore and then turn right around and take it back from us. That's not fair. Especially as he's the very one I was going to pick. Alright, so I felt like an Eeyore today. What of it? Haha. ;) It's true I don't have a tail, nor a pink bow, but I can say "If it is a good morning, which I doubt" with the best of them. Really, today it came quite naturally. Heehee.
ReplyDelete(By the way, you didn't have me in mind when you wrote that P.S. did you? Because...I don't know...for some reason I get the feeling it was meant for me. Haven't the slightest idea why. *wink, wink*)
~Miss March
Oh yes I can. *standing with hands on hips* I made the rules. ;) If one has an Eeyore day, that doesn't mean they must be Eeyore. I'm sure that's scientifically proven somewhere. ;) And I've noticed here that you still haven't answered the question properly, which character are you?
Delete(*clears throat* *ahem* No comment. *seized in a fit of coughing*)
~Cordy
I didn't answer the question properly because I DON'T KNOW! Honestly, Cordy, I'm terrible at these kind of games. If I had time to think about it I'd probably have to give an answer like Olivia's because I'd see all the different ways I relate to all the different characters, and I wouldn't be able to narrow it down to one solid thing. But sadly, I don't have time for that right now so... Eeyore is the best you're getting. Haha! ;)
Delete(Oh my goodness! You seriously didn't have me in mind when you wrote that did you? DID YOU? This is too much! Now you're not answering my question. *goes off in a huff*)

We've done this before. We've always said one of my sisters was Eeyore and she's consequently received some Eeyore pajamas. My brother and SIL are Tigger and Tiggeress (he used to bounce through the house and cause dishes to fall from the cabinets, and Mom would have him run laps around the house when he had too much energy).
ReplyDeleteI'm rabbit and another sister is Piglet. The rest of us didn't have super strong choices or none at all. I think my mom is Pooh and one sister might be gopher and another sister Tigger.
Have you seen "The Dark Side of Winnie the Pooh?" It has them all labelled with psychological disorders like OCD and schizophrenia. I think its funny.
Really? I thought I was choosing a unique group of characters. *sigh* I guess not. Haha. The Tigger candidates sound like they fit the bill. :) Poor dishes.
DeleteOh, I haven't seen Rabbit yet. How are you like Rabbit? Do you like things orderly and such?
Yes, I have actually. I didn't know what I thought of it. Hahaha.
Are you by any chance in need of a new post idea? I mean, I just thought, with all this time on your hands you're bound to be looking for something to do, right? Haha.
ReplyDeleteIn other words, I tagged you, but feel perfectly free to pass it up if you don't have time or inclination for it. (By the way, those tags you tagged me with back in the summer, or fall, or whenever it was... I'm not sure I'm actually going to get around to them. When I get too far behind on things, it just gets stressful trying to catch up, ya know?)

Have a lovely week, Cordy!! :)
