First Word: Spring Edition

Alright, I've been dealing with strange weather that can hardly be considered of a spring-ish persuasion. Therefore, I determined that I needed to create one of my First Word games in the hopes of encouraging a more cheery attitude for myself. I hope you enjoy yourselves!

Rules:
Copy and paste the list of words into the comment section of this post and for each prompt, write the first word that comes to mind after reading a word on the list. Start with just the first word that comes to mind and explain your choice if you wish after you've given your answer.

    Green = THE PHILLY EAGLES
    Blooms = Fisher Bloom from Lark Rise to Candleford (:P)
    Daffodil = A field with flowers swaying in the breeze
    Bulb = Tulips!
    Rain = London (no idea why.....)
    Shine = A big juicy apple
    Yellow = A bird
    Tulip = My childhood (we used to plant lots of tulips back home when I was younger)
    Chicks = My friend's farm
    Planting = Our garden
