I recently noticed I'd never done a Christmas Edition of my First Word games. My bad. :D

For those of you who don't know, copy and paste this list of trigger words in the comment section.
Next, as you read through them enter the first word that comes to mind.

    1. Some bandwagons aren't so bad to join, right? ;)

      Love your answer for lights! It's so true but it's not what came to mind for me.
      And the "Shepherd = care", is also a sweet answer.

      Merry Christmas, Hamlette!

    1. You had my laughing at the Roast Peas. Those sound...interesting. Hahaha.
      I love pine trees!

      You actually reminded me to play and I posted my answers here in the comments. I think I've spaced my answers that last few games I've posted. Thanks for the reminder! :D

      Merry Christmas, MovieCritic!

  5. Candycane = Cake (don't ask me why, I don't know)
    Caroling = Cold
    Mistletoe = Kiss (rather unoriginal I daresay)
    Trees = evergreen
    Santa Claus = Suit
    Ornaments = Tree
    Lights = Temple Square
    Stockings = Mantle
    Sleigh-bells = Ring
    Chimney = Coming
    Giving = Tree (That's a book, isn't it? Hm.)
    Angels = Heard (We have heard on high)
    Manger = Away
    Star = Light
    Shepherd = Bethlehem
    Holy Night = O (Haha)
    Joy = to the World
    (I'm afraid nearly all of the ones that are included in song titles reminded me of the song.)
    (And most of my answers were dreadfully unoriginal and uncreative and obvious. But oh well. So it goes.)
    Thanks for the game!

    1. You changed your profile picture! :D Is North and South a new find? Have you read the book or watched the movie, or both?

      Well as far as the answers here go, Kiss is a rather original answer for Mistletoe. It's more than I could muster anyway. Haha.

      Yes, The Giving Tree is a book.

      I think I matched your answers when they reminded me of a song as well. :) You know what they say about great minds..

      Merry Christmas!!

    2. No, it's been a while! I've read the book and watched the movie twice. I just wanted a new pic and I liked this one.

      Merry Christmas!

  6. Candycane = delicious
    Caroling = songs
    Mistletoe = decoration
    Trees = green
    Santa Claus = Fat(belly)
    Ornaments = colorful
    Lights = bright
    Stockings = red

    Giving = happiness
    Angels = white
    Manger = baby
    Star = night

    I think I actually did this right! The first word for shepherds was SUPER basic though 0.0

    And I feel kind of bad that I wrote "fat" for Santa but that really is the first thing I thought of! Thanks so much for the game, Cordy! You never fail to cheer up a day!

    1. HI, Fawnabelle!! How have you been?

      I wish I could say I liked candycanes...but I just don't.

      Haha, many of the words that came to my mind were on the basic side as well.

      Have a Merry Christmas, Fawnabelle!

    2. I've been... okay(?!) Better than yesterday. I saw The Last Jedi and my life is kind of wacky. I need to get out of this funk... 0_0

      WHAT?! I can't live without them! May I ask why you don't like them?

      I don't think basic is a bad thing. At least, not all the time.

      Merry Christmas to you too, Cordy!

    3. Hahaha, so your life is wacky because of Last Jedi? Just kidding. I know what you're talking about. I'm in a funk myself but it's more of an anticipation funk. I can't wait for the new year!! :D

      Um, I think they just take too long to eat. I know that sounds ridiculous, but they are so sticky and annoying to eat for me. I do like peppermint shakes though. Do I get half points for that? Hahaha.

      Hope you had a great Christmas!

  7. I guess I should play my own game. :)

    Candycane = Silver
    Caroling = Song
    Mistletoe = Mistletoe (I'm stuck! I don't know what the next word is. All I can see is a doorway with mistletoe but a word isn't really coming to mind.)
    Trees = Candy (why? I don't know!)
    Santa Claus = Jolly
    Ornaments = Orbs
    Lights = Sparkle
    Stockings = Hung
    Sleigh-bells = Ring
    Chimney = Soot (but I saw Bert from Mary Poppins. :))
    Giving = Tree
    Angels = We (have heard on high)
    Manger = Away
    Star = Bright
    Shepherd = Herd (it's what they do...)
    Holy Night = Star
    Joy = To (the world)

    Wow, that was harder than expected. :P Haha.
