How was your Christmas?!

As the picture suggests, my Christmas was white! It snowed a few weeks before Christmas and its been snowing every few days since. But, my favorite snowfall came on/during Christmas Eve. We had our outside lights on and the snowfall was so beautiful! It was perfect!

Christmas Eve is always hosted at our house and what family that can, come to celebrate. Christmas Day is spent at my grandparent's house.

I just want to mention a few of the gifts I got. One funny, one a brilliant reference book and another sentimental.

In my stocking I found a notebook that says "Writer's Block". It is, literally, a notebook that is created to look like a block of wood. It's hilarious and I can't wait to use it!

From my Great-Grandma I got a TCM Classic Movie Guide! Isn't that the best kind of reference book?! (Besides a thesaurus. I love a good thesaurus!) It includes movies from the silent era through 1965. It goes in alphabetical order for the movie titles and at the back alphabetical by actor. It includes little write-ups on each of the movies. Very helpful. :)

But for my favorite gift, I got a beautiful rag quilt from Santa. It's personalized to me which means it includes: ocean squares, flowers/gardening reference squares, camera squares, owl squares, typewriting squares, quote squares on home and laughter, and blues and greens! Isn't Santa the best? ;)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

What was your favorite gift that you received and/or gave? What was your favorite part of Christmas?!

  2. You changed your background again!! Oooh! All the sparkly colors! I like it!

You had SNOW on Christmas?? What's up with that? Haha! We weren't anywhere near to having snow this Christmas. In fact, it was so warm that we opened our front door to let in some fresh air because with all the people crammed into the living room it was getting rather hot! :) Ah, well. Maybe next year we'll have snow.

Haha! The Writer's Block notebook! That's great! And the Classic Movie Guide! Wow! That must be fun to look through! I'm glad you had a good Christmas, Cordy! Thanks for sharing a bit of it with us!

    Happy New Year!

    1. I did change my background! I wanted it to be a little dressed up for the Cinderella week. I wasn't planning on doing something like that until I found this background. And then I liked it to much to pass it up. :) I like the pinks and blues like Cinderella's many dresses.

With so many people I hope you had fun! If one must be hot I hope it's for good reason! Hahaha.

Happy New Year to you, Miss March!
