New Bloggy Things:
- On a new page. I have added a new page at the top of the blog entitled "Questions". This tab was created to catch all the random questions one might have for me that may not apply to a particular post. Also, I am close to having published 80 posts and am quickly approaching my 100th. (!!) As I have seen done on other blogs, I will be using that 100th post to answer any (appropriate) questions. That tab will be the storage area for those questions in preparation for that post.
- On the subject of comments. I know that I have not been as prompt in both publishing and answers comments. This is a conscious effort that I am making to cut down on my internet time as time has become an elusive little bugger as of late. Because I have gained more readers I also find myself with the happy dilemma of having more comments to both publish and answer. Welcome new followers! (I now have 15 followers?! How did that happen?! :D) Thank you both old and new friends for all of your kind comments and please understand if they aren't answered or published right away! I will try to be better at commenting.
- On a new link list added to the sidebar. I will occasionally come across a video that I consider worth sharing but perhaps not worth a post. In view of this dilemma, I have created a link list titled "Are you looking for...". It will change as I find new material for each listed category. So far I have linked to some Celtic Thunder, a funny Danny Kaye movie clip, and one of my favorite songs to write to. In the future, when I have changed a link, I will add "(new)" next to the category. You don't have to use the list, I only wanted to introduce its purpose. :)
- On posting frequency. I don't want you to worry or wonder as my posts will become more infrequent as summer comes on. I will still be around the blogging world but I do foresee a decrease in my posting frequency for a time. But not a very long break I hope because I would miss it to much.

CORDY!! YOUR HEADER!!! It's AWESOME! Sink me, I don't know how you do it. And I love your sidebar. I think it's so neat how you change it every time you do a new header and add pictures and quotes that match your new theme.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the "Are you looking for..." link several weeks ago, and I think it's a really cool idea. (And would you look at that! It's The Court Jester! I know that movie! Haha. Isn't it hilarious, though?)
I totally understand about trying to keep up with comments. No worries. You don't have to answer every comment immediately. I'm sure everyone will understand. And about cutting down on internet time...*gulp*. That is something I really need to do, too. It's just that I'm such a slow writer that when I limit myself I barely seem to get anything done, and then I feel behind and start getting stressed. However, I feel out of sorts if I'm on the computer too long, too, so...grrr. I just can't win. :P
Ohh! A question and answer post. I'm going to have to start thinking about that one. :)

I know what you mean. :) I'm also a slow writer. I will sit and write it in my head over and over again with no problem but as soon as I see the screen it's like forcing the last bit of toothpaste out of the tube. It's terrible!! Haha. I'm glad that you take the time to blog though! Don't stress about it. You're doing awesome!!! :D :D

Aww. Really? It's probably silly, but it made me really happy to hear you say that, because I feel like you're one of the ones who knows me best when it comes to the blogging world, too. You know, we really should exchange e-mails sometime. Because, well, that would just REALLY help us both in achieving our goal of spending less time on the computer. Do you follow me? (Right. I had a feeling that didn't quite make sense.) Haha. :P Anyway, joking aside, I'd love to correspond with you if you wanted to...but would certainly understand if you didn't. (After all, you did just finish telling us all how busy you are, so adding one more person to keep in contact with might not be what you need at the present moment. ;))
No rush to get back to me on this one. I know you've got a long ways to travel from Middle Earth. ;)

I'm quite sad I won't have much time to participate in this party (especially because I'm in a VERY strong LOTR mood right now...my brother and I are currently doing a "marathon" of the movies) but I'm thinking that I MAY just try to do one post if time permits...we'll see. ;)
