Which flower would you have featured if you were the heroine within your own fairyest of fairy-tales?
Poppies, lilacs, daisies, black-eyed susans, daffodils, blossoms, orchids?
Do tell!
Yours truly,
Cordy
P.S. I will be taking a blogging break. I don't know how long I will be away but I do know that I will be back after I learn to juggle a little better. :D (Which, hopefully, shouldn't take long. ;))

What about carnations? I love those. Have a great break!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like this idea. For me, carnations always look like they are made from tissue paper. :)
DeleteYou're taking a break? How sad, I will miss your absence. :)
ReplyDeleteBlossoms.:D I also love roses.
Don't worry, Rachel. I'll be back. :)
DeleteBlossoms, pretty and pink! Or maybe white? Hmm, white or pink, Rachel?
Wow, that's an interesting question! Can I answer with a tree? I think I'd choose a crepe myrtle. They're gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteA tree? What a good idea. I hadn't even heard of a crepe myrtle but from what I saw on my Google search, they have fantastic vibrant colors! If I were to choose a tree, it would be a weeping willow. :)
DeleteWell, if I have to choose one of the above, Lilacs. If I can choose any other flower, Water-lilies.
ReplyDeleteWater-lilies, I like it. :)
DeleteLilacs, purple and and elegant! I love Roses too, pink ones best, but only one flower is a bit boring.
ReplyDeleteOoo, Lilacs are so pretty! I love those.
DeleteI LOVE the smell of lilacs! It's a pity they don't last longer.
DeleteHaha, so Livia, you would simply add lilacs to a rose fairy-tale?
Mmmm, I do love roses. Honestly, it seems no surprise that they are always "the" flower in fairytales. I think that's what I would choose as well! I might go with violets, though...violets are perfectly sweet!
ReplyDeleteI like simple violets. (But, I would personally stick with roses too. :))
DeleteHmmm. I have no idea! Perhaps daisies or--oh, wait. Peonies! I love them so much. :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't The Slipper and the Rose so sweet and lovely? I watched it for the first time awhile back and just loved it. I need to rewatch it!
Ahh, a daisy almost gets two votes. Peonies remind me of roses; they just have heavy heads. ;)
DeleteOH YES! I love Slipper and the Rose!! It's one of those movies where it's always time for a rewatch. :D
This is a wonderful question Cordy,
ReplyDeleteI like roses, but the flower I would choose would be Apple Blossoms. They are just georgeous!
Thanks, PioneerGirl. :)
DeleteI like how blossoms come in clusters!
I would have to say daisies. They are so simple, but at the same time, everyone knows them.
ReplyDeleteGood choice. :D
